Spiegel Online reports here: Global warming appears to have stalled. Climatologists are puzzled as to why average global temperatures have stopped rising over the last 10 years. Some attribute the trend to a lack of sunspots, while others explain it through ocean currents.

It’s probably because the connection between rising CO2 and temperature is not as valid as originally thought. There could be many other factors that cause the climate to change. Perhaps those even tend to swamp out the change that is postulated to occur due to anthropological additions of CO2 to the atmosphere. Maybe we should check that out.
